Ingredients and interactions
Gluco Extend contains a proprietary blend including bean extract, berberine, cocoa, gymnema, a botanical leaf extract and turmeric. Berberine, gymnema and bean extract may lower blood sugar and can add to the effects of diabetes medicines and insulin, increasing the risk of low blood sugar. Berberine can interact with many prescription drugs, including cyclosporine and medicines processed by liver enzymes, and is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding or for infants. Turmeric may interact with blood thinners and is not advised for people with gallbladder problems. Cocoa contains small amounts of caffeine-like compounds. Not for use by anyone under 18.
